When our producers asked us if we were interested in this style of incense holder, it looked completely wonderful so we ordered.
The boxes use a Jali method to hand carve wood. Jali as a general concept is the cuts or the small holes you see in the incense box.
These cuts are replicated into a pattern. These patterns are common in Indian craft and are usually geometric.
Two different sized holes hold different incense stick thicknesses. Two metal holders are for cones.
There also is a hidden compartment for your incense stick storage.
