The craftsmen carefully shape the wood into a smooth globe, then apply a lustrous plant-based lacquer before carving a continuous cream spiral that wraps the body.

Each set of three highlights the natural grain with tones of red, amber and maroon, hand-turned and painted by Fair Trade artisans in India.
