Each sheet is a one-of-a-kind artwork, handcrafted by Fair Trade artisans in Bangladesh using traditional marbling techniques.
This marbled paper features a soft sky blue base enlivened with flowing swirls of golden yellow and rose red.The artisans skilfully swirl and manipulate the colours into intricate patterns—flowing curls, speckled blooms or bold arcs—before gently laying a sheet of paper onto the surface to absorb the design.
The pattern, known as nonpareil, features rhythmic veins and petal-like swirls that bring a sense of movement and depth. Each sheet has subtle variations in tone and movement.
The result is richly textured, tree-free paper that’s both durable and sustainable — ideal for wrapping gifts, crafting journals, or other art projects.
