These handmade trays can be used for small pots and placed in gardens, patios, or other outdoor areas where they can be enjoyed. If not for pots, they are a great shelf-size storage tray, to fill with your nic nacs.
The trays use a lighter rattan than our other rattan products and comes nested. The light cane changes the rattan colour to a grey with an undertone tinge of green as pictured. It is different tonal colour than our larger gauge rattans products.
We use them for our seed pots which allows us to move them easily in one tray. Its a good cover up when you have a row of small pots.
Kubu is a technique where the harvested rattan is submerged in a pond of mud and leaves for about four weeks - before weaving the baskets.
