Kubu Rattan Laundry and Utility Baskets, Set of 3.

These sturdy and stylish baskets with "Kubu" treatment, have a classic weave and they will hold a houseful of laundry or other items.

The tallest basket is light but sturdy and strong - it is a traditional sized laundry basket. This is the same size as the single laundry basked listed here.

The middle more compact basket is great for smaller spaces and will hold your bits and pieces nicely.

The smallest basket is a "waste paper" size which would sit nicely by a table, in your bathroom or tucked away for smaller items.

Kubu is a technique where the harvested rattan is submerged in a pond of mud and leaves for about four weeks - before weaving the baskets. It is a natural treatment against woodworm and other bugs and the rattan changes colour to an earthy pale grey.
